The Pochette Twin belongs to that family of small, flat models that Louis Vuitton multiplied at the turn of the 2000s, an era when elongated, close-fitting silhouettes dominated. It is constructed like an envelope: a flat body of Monogram coated canvas, a flap covering two-thirds of the front, and natural vachetta leather piping that highlights every edge. This leather, left untreated, has developed a beautiful, even honey-toned patina.

Its strength lies in its modularity. The leather shoulder strap clips on for shoulder or crossbody carry, and removes in an instant to transform the piece into an evening clutch. The closure is a magnetic snap, crisp and silent. The GM size fits a phone, a slim card holder, and a lipstick—the essentials, nothing more.

Good condition, grade B—the coated canvas is clean, the leather piping is in good condition with a lovely patina, and the strap is in good condition. The interior shows slight signs of previous use.
